Fireplace Curtain

A functional solution for a non-functional fireplace. My New York City fireplace hasn’t worked for years, ever since the chimney was patched over and painted, long before I moved in. Since then, it has primarily served as a storage nook, proving to be a bit of an eyesore. Instead of changing my identity completely and learning how to organize more effectively, I thought - why not just cover up my mistakes? An easy fix was born, in the form of this fireplace curtain.

One yard of fabric, a few straight stitches, and a tension rod (+ a bright idea, some would argue) were all I needed for this project.
